Lamb, it's what's for dinner!


Lamb is a flavorful, nutrient-rich food and an excellent source of protein, B12, B6, niacin, zinc, selenium, and iron that support a healthy immune system. Plus recent research suggests that eating protein can help preserve lean body mass when you're trying to lose weight.  


A 3oz serving of lamb contains only 160 calories on average and is packed with nearly half of your daily protein needs.

Lamb is all-natural meat, raised without hormones or antibiotics.  Our sheep are allowed to free range on a variety of nutrient dense grasses, legumes and forage along with supplemental feed from a local feed mill as needed.  This diet creates meat that is more succulent and tender.  Plus, our lamb is lean meat with a mild lamb flavor that is not gamey or overpowering.  Food should not only be nutritious but also taste good!  

Currently 50% of the lamb consumed in the US is imported from Australia (9194 miles from Texas!) and New Zealand (7702 miles from Texas!).  Traveling such a long distance impacts the flavor of the meat.  Our farm is only one short hour away from Dallas, Denton, Fort Worth or Wichita Falls.  Locally produced food taste better and reduces your carbon footprint.

Ways to Enjoy


We have found that lamb can be cooked very similar to beef or pork.  Substitute ground beef with ground lamb in your next pot of spaghetti or chili to change things up. 


Lamb also works well in your favorite recipes for nachos, tacos, quesadillas, and pizza to jazz up your meals. I could go on for days on ways to enjoy this quality meat.  Be adventurous, try it for yourself and taste the difference.
